INVIVO is a series of works delving into the eerie aspects of architecture. Inspired by female horror authors such as Shirley Jackson and Charlotte Perkins Gilman, these works explore the age-old idea that a woman's place is in the home - and how this can be a source of terror.
Architectural horror constitutes its own genre within the horror genre, playing with the subconscious fear of being engulfed or dissolved within a larger structure. Through a body-tempered and wall-creeping atmosphere, INVIVO explores the boundaries between the domestic and the eerie, where architecture itself becomes its own monstrous figure.
INVIVO I partially consists of an audio novel, accessible upon contacting me.
